i got this cript where you can use it with mysql and using php session id you can keep track of who is currently online in your website, but you have to have a database, a sql is better than just a file

Done. You can get the modified script  here.

What's new:
- The script is no longer using iframes
- I changed the online table to HEAP (storing the data in memory only)
- Some optimizations
