Dear All,

What do you suggest that I do for upgrading my site from 2.x to 3.x?

Hi iampedro77,

I would setup a test installation to familiarize with the new version.

First you need to install a fresh copy of Contentteller 3 on your webspace:
 https://www.contentteller.com/guide/installing-contentteller-cms/

Then you can use the included acquire import tool to import the data from your existing Contentteller 2 database:

Should I delete the entire 2.x folder?

And then re-load the site?  Because right now when I am trying to connect to a mysql db it says it can't find the localhost... Which isn't true all the other sites I have running on that server are using mysql with no problems.

This error usual indicate that at least one of the four database settings (hostname, database name, database username, database password) is invalid. Have you double checked all settings?

Which version of PHP and MySQL are you using?
