(...) esselbach_ct_files WHERE news_file > '$odate' (file_status = '0' OR file_status = '3') (...)


But I think it should be:
(...) esselbach_ct_files WHERE file_startdate > '$odate' AND (file_status = '0' OR file_status = '3') (...)


Is this correct?
