Color changes missing? Heidi ho, good coders! I have a clean install of Storyteller CMS standard ver 1.1 and I'm using the admin pages to edit the templates online. Currently, all I'm doing is learning which templates do what and changing the color palettes. Anyway, I've been working at changing news header and subheader colors for the past hour now, and every time I hit refresh on my browser, the colors remain at the defaults. Oddly, when I click on the magnifying glass preview icon next to the templates, the pop-up window shows the correct colors. Any thoughts? B.
Color changes missing? Well, it's working now. The only thing different is that I "gave up" temporarily and I submitted a new item (a test poll). Suddenly, all the color changes "popped". Is it possible that the cache system might have somehow not allowed the color changes to appear? B.
Color changes missing? You need to clear the cache each time after you have changed a template. I suggest that you disable the caching system while working on the templates. This option is available under "Config" (Other)
Color changes missing? Yeppers. I figured out how to disable the cache last night, thanks. While we're on the subject, what triggers the cache to refresh itself? B.
Color changes missing? The caching system usual refresh each time after you post something. Only the template editor is current excluded from auto refreshing.
